Clenbutyrol hydrochloride is an antagonist of prostaglandin F2-alpha and oxytocin.

The action of ventipulmin injection  is removed by beta-adrenergic receptor blockers. When treating mares at a late stage of fertility, the dacha of the drug is canceled immediately before foal in order to avoid weakening of labor. Slaughter of calves for meat is allowed on the 28th day after the last administration of the drug. Avoid inhalation of venpulmin. NOTE. After intravenous administration, some horses may experience sweating and muscle tremors due to temporary peripheral vasodilation.
